Release time:
Apr 02,2026
Core Content
The Ministry of Finance and the State Taxation Administration have announced that VAT export tax rebates for 249 products will be cancelled starting April 1, 2026.
Over 80 chemical products are involved, including methanol, lithium hexafluorophosphate, ethylene glycol, BDO, PVC, and others.
Trade Impact
Short term (1–3 months): Overseas customers will rush to lock in orders, triggering a "rush export" effect, which may lead to a sharp increase in inquiries.
Long term: It will force enterprises to transform toward high value-added products, while low-margin, homogeneous products will face elimination.
Key Reminder
Citric acid, which is on your product list, is included in the export license administration catalogue. Relevant qualifications should be prepared in advance.
